Singapore - Your dream destination!

Traveling is one of the best ways to decrease stress and lift your spirits. Not everyone can afford to travel all over the world, but a well-planned short vacation can be affordable for anyone. If you think there isn’t room in your budget to see the entire world, consider relaxing for just a few days in one of the most beautiful places on earth.
Singaporeans complain that other than shopping, dining and the movies, there isn’t a lot to do in Singapore. But that isn’t true! There are many different things to see and do in Singapore, especially for the first-time visitor.

Here are the top destinations in Singapore:

Merlion

The Merlion is a legendary creature with the head of a lion and the body of a fish. It’s used as a mascot and is the national personification of Singapore. Its name combines “mer” meaning “the sea” and “lion”. The fish body represents Singapore’s origin as a fishing village, since it was originally called Temasek, which means “sea town” in Japanese.
The Merlion welcomes all visitors to Singapore. It stands 8.6 meters high and weighs 70 tons!
It was designed in 1964  and was originally located at the mouth of the Singapore River. It’s now settled into its new home at Merlion Park, located next to One Fullerton- overlooking beautiful Marina Bay.
